DutchBridge Interim Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of the Agreement

  • DBI serves as a platform dedicated to connecting freelance human resources with potential employers. Our service entails the facilitation of these connections between both parties.

2. Financial Arrangements

  • In addition to the freelancer's hourly compensation, employers will pay an additional 15 euros per hour to DBI as a service charge.
  • DBI reserves the right to revise this compensation structure subject to prior notification.

3. Contractual Obligations

  • DBI will enter into a contractual relationship with the freelancer, and subsequently, on their behalf, will form a contract with the employer.
  • Both freelancers and employers are strictly prohibited from bypassing DBI and entering into direct contracts after initial contact through the platform.
  • DBI reserves the right to take legal action in cases where it is bypassed in violation of this clause.
  • All official engagements must be conducted through DBI channels.

4. Usage of DBI Website

  • Users are expected to use the DBI platform responsibly and ethically.
  • Activities that compromise the integrity or functioning of the platform are strictly prohibited.
  • All content and tools provided by DBI are protected under relevant intellectual property laws.

5. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • Parties (freelancers and employers) agree to maintain the confidentiality of all information accessed during their engagement.
  • DBI commits to the diligent maintenance and protection of the personal data of both freelancers and employers, ensuring privacy and compliance with all relevant regulations.

6. Termination

  • Either party may choose to terminate their engagement subject to conditions specified by DBI. Upon termination, any outstanding financial obligations should be promptly addressed.

7. Limitations of Liability

  • While DBI facilitates the connections, the direct engagement in terms of work quality, deliverables, and expectations are between the freelancer and the employer. As such, DBI's liability is strictly limited to the aforementioned facilitation.

8. Governing Law

  • All terms, conditions, and any disputes arising out of this agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.

9. Amendments

  • DBI retains the right to modify, update, or amend these terms and conditions at its discretion, with changes becoming effective upon their publication on the DBI site.

10. Miscellaneous

  • If any part of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining portions is unaffected.
  • A lack of enforcement by DBI of any specific right or provision of these terms should not be construed as a waiver of such right or provision.
